Where are we going??
The perfect escape, you could be anywhere but the middle of a city. Another paddling escape that is a real urban surprise.
Starting from the Middle Harbour Yacht Club, you paddle under the Spit Bridge, pass fabulous houses overlooking the harbour, you move into a bush section that creeps right down to the water and slowly slip into Garigal National Park, leaving the city behind.
Bantry Bay is the site of an historic ammunition store, which is very interesting viewing, with amazing workmanship and planning. Stopping for lunch on a big old wharf and grassy park on the other side of Bantry Bay, is the perfect place for relaxing, sunbathing, fishing or swimming away from sight and sound of the city.
After lunch, we cruse back down through Middle Harbour to the Middle Harbour Yacht Club, where hot showers and a coffee shop / bar, right on the beach await you. Beautiful city views, natural bushland, historic sites, quiet bays and great exercise await you.
After this tour, you may feel confident to rent your own and take your special friend or friends on a paddle tour of your own.

Weather
In most cases, rain does not present a problem - strong winds may be an issue. Please provide a contact number for the morning of the tour and, if in doubt, please call the office as early as you like on the morning of the tour. We reserve the right to alter the tour locations or lengths if safety or comfort issues dictate.
A minimum number of four adults are required, in most cases, for the tour to proceed and Ocean Planet reserves all rights to cancel or reschedule the activity if numbers do not meet the minimum requirements. The minimum age for participants is 7 years.
